About DI Optical Red Dot Sights

DI Optical has created a couple of red dot sights specifically for the sport shooters and hunters. SP1 is a highly capable precision aiming solution that can handle everything you throw its way.   The brand is known for producing robust red dot sights and SP1 is no exception. Like all their products, this unit has been torture tested under extreme conditions and has passed with flying colors.

The compact SP1 dot is made of rugged construction in a classic tube style that can be used not only with hunting but also tactical applications. The windage and elevation adjustment guarantee perfect alignment with your weapon, making sure you will hit the target every single time. The 22-millimeter lens is multicoated for maximum image clarity and topped-off with a protective scratch-resistant varnish. With this little device, users get a virtually unlimited eye relief and faster target acquisition thanks to the generously wide field of view.

The LED red dot illumination is manually controlled by a single button. It has 12 brightness intensity settings, 10 levels for daytime use and 2 that are night vision compatible. The red dot is powered by a single CR2032 battery that will last up to 5000 hours when used on the medium brightness level. The battery is top-mounted for convenience and quick access.

Customers can choose between two model variants. The first one features a 30 MOA ring with a crisp 1 MOA dot in the center. The second option offers a simple 1 MOA dot without a ring.

DI Optical SP1 is a compact unit that can be fitted on nearly any 5-56.millimeter rifle platform. The detachable screw-in mount for Picatinny rails takes up only 38 millimeters or rail pace (about 1.5 inches). The easily removable 9-millimeter spacer only adds to SP1’s already impressive versatility of use. Made for heavy duty, this small tube red dot sight will operate without a hitch anywhere from -32 degrees to +71 degrees Celsius (approximately from -25.6 to 160 Fahrenheit). This red dot is waterproof, purged with dry Nitrogen gas and can be immersed into 8 meters of depth (16 feet) without a risk. Weighing only 186 grams with the mount attached, this red dot is a perfect solution for any hunter or tactical shooter who doesn’t want to compromise top-notch optical performance for smaller mass. DI Optical S1 can do both.
