The 50mm objective lens, combined with the 30mm wide-angle chassis and 16-layer fully multi-coated lenses, provides high light transmission across the magnification range. An exit pupil of 6.3 mm at 8× provides adequate image brightness in typical outdoor shooting light at minimum magnification. The 102mm of eye relief is consistent with the rest of the series and accommodates a wide range of air rifle platform geometries.

The SFP AMX IR reticle maintains consistent holdover mark sizes at all magnification settings, illuminated in red with 6 brightness levels and off positions between each step.
