Helia 10x42 is a powerful but still very compact binocular made by Kahles, with very appealing design, great ergonomics and outstanding optics. The best of all the worlds, these binoculars never cease to amaze. They are enough lightweight for easy handling and portability for longer periods of time. Perfect for different uses in the wildlife such as hunting, bird watching, traveling etc. offers not only great ergonomics but also great optical performance. Fully multi-coated system provides high light transmission rate and razor sharp images free of any distortions that might occur and inner reflections. Beautifully designed binoculars have hydrophobic scratch-resistant protection that prolongs the life of these binoculars. Very durable construction is also filled with nitrogen gas so inner fogging never occurs even when facing the quick temperature changes in the nature. These binoculars are equipped with very large grippy central focus knob so you can easily and quickly make proper adjustments with the help of right-eye diopter.

Short Description of Kahles Helia Binoculars

Helia binoculars made by Kahles offer incredible optical performance and aesthetic appeal. You can choose two all-round models ideal for hunting, bird watching and other outdoor activities such as safari, hiking, traveling etc. Incredibly welcome open-bridge design offers you a comfortable wrap-around grip and allows you to make focus adjustments at the same time with just one hand. Good at handling and grasping due to rugged surface of a durable thick armoring, these binoculars are also very well protected. They are tightly sealed with O-rings and purged with nitrogen gas that eliminates internal glass fogging that might occur due to sudden temperature changes. For very short time they can even be submerged to a water depth of 1 meter and not get damaged. These beautifully designed binoculars with very unique accessories made from natural materials, are optically also very well equipped. They are fully multi-coated to enhance brightness, color and contrast and helps to eliminate distortions from edge to edge. External lenses are also coated with oil repellent that decreases number of wipes and thus also abrasion.

na vas se obračam v zvezi s svojim daljnogledom Kahles Helia 10x42 z daljinomerom, ki je popolnoma prenehal delovati.

Zamenjal sem baterijo in očistil sponke baterije, vendar se naprava še vedno ne odziva in ne napaja. Razumem, da je ta daljnogled morda že izven garancije, vendar je bil uporabljen le nekajkrat in je v skoraj novem stanju.

Poleg tega se je v prvem tednu lastništva pokvarila nastavitev očesnega reliefa, kar me je izredno razočaralo za vrhunski izdelek, ki se trži zaradi svoje vzdržljivosti in zanesljivosti.

Ker je lovska sezona v teku, sem zaradi te napake ostal brez nujne opreme, ki sem jo kupil posebej zato, ker so Kahlesovi izdelki znani po svoji trajnosti. Glede na zelo omejeno uporabo in zgodnjo odpoved ključnih sestavnih delov menim, da bi bilo treba to težavo oceniti kot napako v proizvodnji ali kakovosti in ne kot normalno obrabo.

Dear Kahles Support Team,

I’m contacting you regarding my Kahles Helia 10x42 binoculars with rangefinder, which have completely stopped working.

I have replaced the battery and cleaned the battery terminals, but there is still no response or power from the unit. I understand these may now be out of warranty, but they have only been used a handful of times and are in near-new condition.

To add to this, the eye relief adjustment broke within the first week of ownership, which was extremely disappointing for a premium product that is marketed for its durability and reliability.

With hunting season now underway, this failure has left me without essential gear I specifically purchased because Kahles products are known to last. Given the very limited use and the early failure of key components, I believe this issue should be assessed as a manufacturing or quality fault, not normal wear and tear.

I’d appreciate it if you could arrange for an inspection and repair or replacement as soon as possible. Please let me know how to return the binoculars or where to send them for evaluation.

Hello,
The specs says that the eye relief of this binoculars is 20mm. Is that real eye relief? It seems optimisticly long for 10x42. I'm looking for binoculars proper to use with glasses.

Pošiljam sliko in videoposnetek, na katerem je kovinski del okularja zlomljen. Ne vem, kam naj jih pošljem v popravilo, če pa mi lahko pošljete novega, bom sam izvlekel dva nastavitvena vijaka in ga zamenjal

Hello! I am very interested in a pair of the Kahles Helia S 10x42. I am finding some contradictory info on the Binos - are they made in Japan or Austria? Also - are there comparable Binos from Leica, such as Trinovid or Zeiss (SFL) tht I should be considering? I am a US based customer of that makes a difference… thank you!
