The REFINED-updated wheel geometry provides improved grip for reliable operation with gloved hands or in wet conditions, without requiring the shooter to reach over or reposition to access the parallax control.

The Kahles K525i is the mid-range precision model within the K Series, designed for competition shooters and long-range hunters who require reliable performance and consistent optical quality across a broad magnification range without the added size and weight of the higher-specification models. The 5–25× magnification range with a true 5× zoom ratio covers from a practical 5× minimum — offering a field of view of 7.7 metres at 100 metres for target identification and stage transitions — to a 25× upper end that delivers the image scale needed for precision shot placement and target reading at extended distances.

The 56mm objective lens, combined with the 34mm mono-tube and Kahles' proven optical system, delivers an exit pupil of 9.5 mm at 5× and maintains consistent image quality across the full magnification range. An eye relief of 95 mm provides comfortable clearance across a wide range of rifle platforms and shooting positions.

Three reticle variants are available, all first focal plane and illuminated. The SKMR4 (art. no. 10850/10851) provides a structured MRAD holdover grid for shooters who require detailed reference points across the field. The SKMR (art. no. 10852/10853) — updated in REFINED to the latest Kahles design standard — delivers a cleaner layout favoured by competition shooters who prefer reduced visual complexity at high magnification. The MSR2/Ki (art. no. 10854/10855) provides a competition-tested layout updated for the REFINED generation. All reticle variants are available with the windage turret on the left (for right-handed shooters) or on the right (for left-handed shooters).
