Introduction

There are two models in the Pinmaster II series: Pinmaster II and Pinmaster II Pro. The Pinmaster II was introduced in 2011 as a follower to the Pinmaster and its improved version Pinmaster II Pro was introduced in 2015.

About the Pinmaster II series

Leica Pinmaster II series of rangefinders combines high-quality optics with long-lasting mechanics especially designed for the demands of golf. It is an essential tool not only for professionals but also for beginners. With a press of a button, you get an exact measurement of the distance to the viewing object in a matter of seconds, so your swing is confident and club selection easier.

Leica, as a world market leader in premium compact rangefinders, guarantees razor-sharp and vivid images. Targeting is easy and fast with a wide field of view. Calculated measurements are visible on a bright red LED display that automatically adapts to the light conditions in all weather conditions. Leica’s special AquaDura coating which repels dirt and water is applied onto the external parts of the lenses.

All models are compact, lightweight and easy to store in your pockets as they are made from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic material. Comfortable and non-slip grip makes them easy to hold in just one hand.

As this is the series designed especially for golf applications, the models feature First Target mode which allows the user to quickly measure the distance to a flag and not the trees or the objects behind it.

About the Model (Pinmaster II)

The model Pinmaster II Pro is one of the laser rangefinders from the Pinmaster series introduced in 2015. It is a newer and improved version of the standard Pinmaster II rangefinder with some additional features. This model with 7x magnification provides you with enough details and a 24 mm front lens diameter – it offers a wide field of view (115 m at 1000 m).

The user can switch between yards and meters by pressing the secondary button to select the desired unit. Both single and continuous measurement modes are available, the latter being perfect for small and moving objects.

The Pinmaster II Pro is perfect for glasses wearers as the eyecups can be folded down. To adjust the sharpness of the object, you can change the diopter value between ± 3.5. The product is powered by a CR2 type battery. The battery compartment is located beneath the eyepiece.

It features an improved First Target mode which helps determine the distance to the object that is the nearest to the user in the line of sight. Leica also included an innovative ACD (Angle Compensated Distance) technology that considers the slope of the terrain and trajectory of the golf ball and then corrects the distance, so your swing is accurate.

The package includes a carrying cord, a storing case, a CR2 battery, manual instructions and Leica’s Warranty card.
