The Swampfox Tomahawk II series represents the second generation of Swampfox second focal plane LPVO optics. Developed for modern sporting rifles and tactical carbines, the Tomahawk II combines compact dimensions, rugged construction, and improved optical performance into a versatile low power variable optic platform.

Compared to the original Tomahawk series, the Tomahawk II introduces upgraded glass clarity, redesigned turrets, improved illumination controls, and the new Bright Fiber Optic reticle system. The optic is optimized for competition shooting, tactical applications, hunting, and defensive rifle setups where fast transitions and versatility are essential.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Swampfox Tomahawk II 1-6x24 features a rugged 6061 aluminum housing engineered to withstand heavy recoil and demanding field conditions. The riflescope is waterproof, fogproof, and impact resistant for reliable use in difficult environments.

The optic utilizes a push/pull locking elevation turret with zero-reset functionality, allowing the shooter to securely lock elevation adjustments during transport or active use. The windage turret is capped for additional protection against accidental movement and impacts.

Tomahawk II uses a side-mounted CR2032 battery compartment and features 12 illumination settings with intermittent off positions between each brightness level for improved battery management.

The riflescope includes a removable throw lever ring that allows faster and more intuitive magnification adjustments during dynamic shooting scenarios.

The compact 30 mm main tube construction helps maintain lightweight rifle handling characteristics while still providing strong durability and adjustment range.

OPTICAL PROPERTIES

The 1-6x magnification range provides strong versatility for both close-range engagements and medium-range precision shooting. At true 1x magnification, the optic supports rapid target acquisition and both-eyes-open shooting techniques similar to a red dot sight.

At 6x magnification, the riflescope provides additional target detail and precision for medium-range shooting applications and more accurate shot placement.

The reticle is positioned in the second focal plane, meaning the reticle size remains constant throughout the magnification range. This maintains a familiar sight picture regardless of zoom setting.

Depending on the selected configuration, the optic is available with either the Guerrilla Dot BDC reticle or the Bright Fiber Optic reticle. The BDC reticle combines rapid target acquisition with simplified holdovers for 5.56 NATO and .308 Winchester cartridges.

The Bright Fiber Optic reticle utilizes fiber optic illumination technology to create an extremely bright illuminated aiming point designed to mimic the speed and visibility of a dedicated red dot sight.

The illumination system offers 12 brightness settings, including two night vision compatible levels. Fully multi-coated lenses together with anti-fog and hydrophobic coatings improve image clarity and visibility in difficult environmental conditions.
