Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 1-6x24 rifle scope description

The Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 1-6x24 is a wide-angle rifle scope designed specifically for CQB, IPSC shooting, driven hunting, and target shooting to medium distances. It is the perfect rifle scope for all AR-type weapons and other semi-auto rifles. With the wide field of view of 112.5 feet at 100 yards or 37.5 meters at 100 meters, it is also the perfect scope for any hunting rifle the user will take on driven hunts.

The reticle in the Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 1-6x24 is set in the second focal plane, which means that the reticle has the same size on all magnifications. There are two options available, namely an MRAD and an MOA version. Both reticles are illuminated with red color and have 10 intensity settings. The reticle is always in the same subtensions like the turret. This means, on the maximal magnification the lines in the reticle are equal to the clicks on the turret, so you can make elevation and windage corrections more easily and more precisely. The parallax is fixed on 100 yards or 91 meters, and thanks to the real 1x magnification shooting with both eyes open is easily possible.

The turrets are low-profile, which are capped for protection against accidental movement. The low-profile design enables the user to mount additional equipment. The main tube is made from a single-piece aluminum for more strength and reliability, and the mounting diameter is 30 millimeters so many mounting solutions are available for any weapon platform. The outer surface is hard-anodized for a more scratch-resistant finish. The internal of the tube is also argon filled so these rifle scopes can be used also in a very cold environment and will not fog internally.

In the Viper PST Gen. 2 only the best XD™ Lens Elements are used, which dramatically increases the resolution and color fidelity, and that's why the images are more sharp and crisp. All lenses inside the Viper PST rifle scopes are also XR™ fully multi-coated for more light-transmission and even better contrast. The outer lenses have also an additional coating named ArmorTek, which makes the surface more scratch-resistant and protects the lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt.
