Compared to the full-size Airmax 30 WA SF models, the Compact series features a shorter overall length, lighter weight, a shorter eye relief of 76mm, and a 3" sidewheel rather than the 4" unit supplied with the WA SF models. All other core features are retained: 16-layer fully multi-coated lenses, SFP AMX IR reticle, side focus parallax from 9 metres to infinity, capped resettable target turrets with 1/10 MRAD clicks, and red-only illumination with 6 brightness levels.

At 329 mm in length and 670 g, it is substantially more compact and lighter than the full-size equivalent, while retaining the same core optical system and mechanical specification.

The 50mm objective lens, combined with the 30mm wide-angle chassis and 16-layer fully multi-coated lenses, delivers high light transmission and a clear image across the magnification range. An exit pupil of 8.3 mm at 6× supports adequate image brightness in variable shooting light. The 76mm of eye relief is shorter than the full-size WA SF models and should be taken into account when selecting mounting height and ring position for a specific air rifle platform.

The SFP AMX IR reticle provides airgun-specific holdover marks with a consistent reticle appearance at all magnification settings, illuminated in red across 6 brightness levels and off positions between each step.
