Both turrets deliver 100 clicks per revolution in 0.1 MRAD increments, with clear EASYREAD labelling for reliable reading under field conditions. The ZEROSTOP is set 2–3 clicks below the zero indicator after zeroing, allowing fast, repeatable return to zero. The Revolution Indicator uses a mechanical indicator pin to display the current turret revolution at a glance. The patented TwistGuard on the windage turret prevents accidental adjustment through a freely rotating protective cap — without any locking mechanism, so it is always immediately ready to use.
• First Focal Plane with Illuminated SKMR4 or MSR2/Ki Reticle: Both available reticles are positioned in the first focal plane, scaling proportionally with magnification so subtension values remain accurate throughout the full 3.5–18× range. The MSR2/Ki is the updated REFINED version of the previous MSR, incorporating the latest Kahles reticle design standards for improved clarity. The SKMR4 provides a structured holdover grid for precision long-range use. Both are illuminated for low-light visibility.
• Top-Mounted Parallax with Enhanced Wheel Geometry: The parallax knob is positioned on top of the scope body below the elevation turret — Kahles' patented central arrangement that allows all controls to be accessed with one hand without reaching over the scope. The REFINED update introduces an enhanced wheel geometry for improved grip and more reliable operation in cold, wet, or gloved-hand conditions. Parallax covers 25 metres to infinity.

About the Model (Kahles K318i REFINED 3.5-18x50)

The Kahles K318i REFINED is a first focal plane riflescope positioned as the compact crossover model within the K Series, covering both short-range dynamic shooting and medium to long-range precision work from a single platform. The 3.5–18× magnification range with a true 5× zoom ratio starts from a low 3.5× — giving a field of view of 9.6 metres at 100 metres that supports fast target acquisition at close range — and reaches to 18× for precision engagement at extended distances. The compact 313 mm length and 950 g weight are deliberately optimised to minimise rail footprint and keep the overall rifle balance practical for a wide range of use cases.

The scope is available with two reticle options. The SKMR4 provides a structured MRAD holdover grid for shooters who require precise reference points across the field. The MSR2/Ki — the REFINED-generation evolution of the previous MSR reticle — delivers a clean, competition-tested layout updated to current Kahles design standards. Both reticles are first focal plane and illuminated, with subtensions accurate throughout the full magnification range.

The REFINED-generation elevation turret operates at 10 MIL per revolution with 0.1 MRAD click values and a total travel of 30 MRAD. The windage turret — updated in REFINED to also deliver 10 MIL per revolution with 15 MRAD total travel — matches the elevation in click spacing and tactile feedback. Both turrets incorporate ZEROSTOP, Revolution Indicator, and EASYREAD labelling. The patented TwistGuard on the windage turret prevents unintentional adjustment without requiring any additional locking action. All turrets adjust counter-clockwise (CCW), consistent with the wider K Series convention. The windage turret can be configured on either the left or right side of the turret housing, accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters.

The top-mounted parallax is positioned below the elevation turret in Kahles' patented central arrangement, adjustable from 25 metres to infinity with the REFINED-updated wheel geometry for improved grip. Eye relief is 92 mm with a dioptre range of +2.5 / −3.5 dpt.
