PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Swampfox Kentucky Long 2-12x44 features a durable aircraft-grade aluminum housing engineered to withstand heavy recoil and demanding field conditions. The riflescope is shock resistant, waterproof, and nitrogen purged for reliable operation in adverse weather environments.

The optic features push/pull locking turrets with zero-reset functionality. This system allows the shooter to quickly lock turret positions during use while also enabling fast return-to-zero adjustments after sighting in the rifle.

An adjustable side-focus parallax system allows precise image correction from short distances all the way to infinity, helping maintain image sharpness and target clarity across the full magnification range.

Swampfox also includes interchangeable low-profile and high-profile magnification fins, allowing the shooter to customize magnification handling without requiring aftermarket throw levers.

The riflescope uses a side-mounted CR2032 battery for reticle illumination and features tactile illumination controls with 11 brightness settings.

OPTICAL PROPERTIES

The 2-12x magnification range provides excellent versatility for hunting, designated marksman rifles, and precision shooting applications. Lower magnification settings allow fast target acquisition and improved situational awareness, while 12x magnification provides sufficient detail for more precise shots at longer distances.

The reticle is positioned in the first focal plane, meaning the reticle scales proportionally with magnification. This allows ranging features, holdovers, and ballistic references to remain accurate throughout the entire zoom range.

The optic is equipped with the Sharpshooter MIL reticle, designed for precise holdovers, ranging, and elevation/windage corrections in tactical and long-range shooting applications.

The illuminated reticle system features 11 brightness settings and improves reticle visibility in low-light conditions and difficult shooting environments.

The fully multi-coated optical system includes anti-fog, anti-scratch, and hydrophobic lens coatings that help improve light transmission, reduce glare, and protect the lenses from moisture and dirt.
